Science
This dynamic and interactive science course nurtures the natural curiosity of young learners, guiding them through exciting investigations of the living world, the Earth and sky, and the physical forces that shape our environment. The course is organized into three main strands: Life Science, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science—each designed to inspire wonder and develop core scientific skills.
In Life Science, students dive into the world of living things. They learn about plants and animals, their life cycles, habitats, adaptations, and how they depend on each other for survival. Using real-world observations and hands-on activities, students study how seeds grow into plants, how animals meet their needs, and how ecosystems function. Activities may include planting seeds, observing insects, creating food chains, and comparing animal behaviors.
Earth and Space Science introduces students to the changing Earth. They explore the water cycle, weather patterns, the seasons, and how natural forces like wind, rain, and erosion shape our land. Students also discover our solar system—learning about the sun, moon, planets, and how day and night work. They observe the sky, track the moon phases, and understand how Earth’s movement affects time and temperature.
In Physical Science, students investigate the properties of matter, motion, and energy. They learn how solids, liquids, and gases behave, how materials can change, and how objects move with different forces like pushes and pulls. Students experiment with sound and light, discovering how vibrations create sound and how light reflects and refracts.
Throughout the course, the scientific process is emphasized. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, conduct simple experiments, collect data, and share their findings. By the end of the program, learners develop a foundational understanding of science and a lasting excitement for discovering how the world works.
